BPC-157 vs TB-500 as research reagents. BPC-157 and TB-500 are structurally distinct synthetic peptides frequently studied alongside one another in preclinical tissue-repair research. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide (~1419.5 g/mol) corresponding to a partial sequence of a gastric-juice protein; TB-500 is a synthetic 7-amino-acid fragment corresponding to the actin-binding region of the protein Thymosin β-4.
